Before you send

How do I submit a demo to BASSWAV?
Use the submission form with your email, a private track link, artist name, track title and genre. A short note is optional.
What genres does BASSWAV sign?
Drum and bass. The track needs weight, energy, and a reason for DJs to play it.
What format should I send?
Send a private SoundCloud, Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer link. The form accepts a link, not an audio attachment. Check that the link opens and plays without access requests.
Do I keep my masters?
Yes. Artists keep their masters on BASSWAV releases.
Is there an upfront cost?
No upfront release fee. Any agreed costs and royalty terms are set out in the release agreement.
Do I need to sign exclusively?
Only the tracks you sign. Each signed track is licensed to BASSWAV exclusively for 10 years; you keep ownership of the master, and everything else you make stays free to release anywhere.
Can I submit an unfinished track?
Yes, if the direction is clear. A strong loop or rough arrangement is better than a polished track with no identity.
