How to submit a demo

BASSWAV Records accepts drum and bass demos through its submission form. Prepare a private track link, your email, artist name, track title and genre. This guide covers link access and the details to have ready before you send.

The fit

Does your track belong on BASSWAV?

BASSWAV Records is a drum and bass label. Listen to the released catalog before sending: the body moves before the mind catches up.

Link access

How do you prepare a demo link?

BASSWAV’s form accepts a private SoundCloud, Dropbox, Drive or WeTransfer link. Paste the share link, rather than a link to your own account dashboard.

  • Open the link in a private browser window.
  • Check that the track opens and plays without signing into your account or requesting access.
  • Keep the link available after submitting.

FAQ

What else should you know before sending a BASSWAV demo?

Can I upload a WAV or MP3?
The BASSWAV submission form takes a track link, not an audio attachment. Share your track through one of the listed link services.
Do I need to write a long pitch?
No. The “Why BASSWAV?” field is optional. Use it to give a short reason the track belongs on BASSWAV.
Can I send an unfinished track?
Yes. BASSWAV accepts unfinished tracks when the direction is clear.
