Most artists never read what a label deal actually says. Here is what BASSWAV puts on the table next to what most labels still ask for.

What signing here is like.

  • The deal was the one I would have written for myself. No exclusivity, no upfront, masters mine. Made the decision easy.

  • BASSWAV kept the techno alias separate from the DnB project. Most labels would have pushed me to consolidate. They didn't. That call was the difference.

What matters on first listen.

How do I submit a demo to BASSWAV?
Use the form on this page with a private track link and a short note about why the record fits the label.
What genres does BASSWAV sign?
Drum and bass, hard techno, hard bass, dubstep, and UK bass. The track needs weight, energy, and a reason for DJs to play it.
What format should I send?
A private SoundCloud link, Drive link, Dropbox link, WeTransfer link, WAV, or MP3 is fine. Do not send a public release if the track is already out everywhere.
Do I keep my masters?
Yes. Artists keep their masters on BASSWAV releases.
Is there an upfront cost?
No. BASSWAV does not charge artists to release.
Do I need to sign exclusively?
No. BASSWAV does not require exclusivity.
Can I submit an unfinished track?
Yes, if the direction is clear. A strong loop or rough arrangement is better than a polished track with no identity.
